Customizing

Schuberth offers its customers the option of having their helmets tailored to their corporate image. Various options are available here, for example a special paint for duroplastic helmets or a special colour for thermoplastic helmets. Logos can also be placed on certain positions on the helmets. A few examples of this are shown here.

Pad printing (for duroplastic helmets)

The pad printing method is a colour application method for duroplastic helmets. Here the marking colour is applied to the helmet surface by means of a printing block. This printing method guarantees durable and long-lasting marking. Two colours can also be used. The size of the marking surface differs according to the helmet shape.

Hot stamping (for thermoplastic helmets)

With the hot stamping method heat and pressure are employed to stamp the required marking onto the helmet shell using a hot stamping foil. The result is durable and weather-proof. The colours (up to 2) used for stamping are determined by the foils. An extremely wide range of colours is available. The size of the marking surface differs according to the helmet shape.

Stickers (for thermoplastic and duroplastic helmets)

You can inquire what stickers are available at Schuberth or customers can obtain them and apply them themselves. Here you only need to bear in mind that only labels with an adhesive which is compatible with ABS-copolymer may be applied to helmets made of ABS-copolymer. Please ask the vendor of the adhesive films for information. Because of the curvature, the size of the stickers depends on the helmet shape.

Colours & paints

Special colours can be requested for thermoplastic helmets provided the shade requested by the customer is available. An oven-fired special paint can be employed for duroplastic helmets. This is often used for the natural-coloured helmet models made of PF-SF (BEN, BEN R and BEN 74 R) because of the very even surface. The UP-GF helmets BOP, BOP R and BOP 74 R, almost all of which are available in the standard colours of white, yellow, blue, red, green and orange, can also be supplied in special colours when requested by the customer. The paints for the helmets are only available in RAL colours.
